Welcome to Studio Baric

Music is a source of joy and inspiration. It is in the sound of a beautiful voice, or in the liquid tones of the piano, or in the subtle shadings of a strumming guitar that human communication finds its highest order of expression.

It's also a lot of fun!

At Studio Baric, my only goal is to open the student to the vistas of fun and excitement found in a life spent in music. From private piano lessons, singing lessons, or guitar lessons to group sessions in music theory and sight-singing, Northumberland County can find exactly what it's looking for in a music education program: a solid education, a firm grounding in the art of music, and a good time.

All lessons are taught by me in my home on the north end of beautiful Port Hope (learn more about me here). My studio is outfitted with a 4'11" Cable-Nelson (by Yamaha) grand piano. I have taken steps to ensure the studio part of my home is family-friendly, with activities to keep younger siblings occupied during lessons, a sizable back yard and deck for kids and parents to enjoy in the warmer months, and internet access for working parents who wish to wait through their kids' lessons.

Note that my home is not wheelchair accessible, and I do have a cat (who prefers to stay hidden away when there's music going on). Otherwise, I'm happy to do whatever I can to make your experience as comfortable and enjoyable as I can.

View my programs below, or in the menu above. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to use the contact form on this website. I'm always online, and will get back to you within 24 hours.
